	For the equivalent of the above cheat when using version 1.1, open the map window, click inside it, and type pirn. Next, click inside the status window. Finally, type in topsguzzardo. Typing ardo afterwards will yield additional $500,000's.	1.1 only

Note that using either of the $500,000 cheats will disable your ability to obtain a military base.

The Fund Trick:

This trick will give you a large amount of money per year, each January. Essentially, it tricks the simulator into thinking it owes you interest.

NOTES: You must not build anything before using this trick*. If you do, it will not work. Also, keep in mind you will not be given the opportunity to build a military base in the city after the use of this trick.

* Martin Proud writes the following: for Mac 1.2 (and maybe other versions as well), the fund trick can still work if you already had placed zones (including air and sea ports), pipes, subway (not subway stations), trees and water, and changed the terrain (lower, level, raise, etc.). Basically, anything that, when bulldozed, leaves no rubble behind.

This cheat has been verified to work on all Macintosh versions of SimCity 2000.

How to do it:

1. type fund
2. press <ENTER> to accept the bond
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 and accept another bond
4. go into the Budget window (the one with taxes, funding and bond information)
5. Click on the book icon under 'Bond Payments'. It will bring up a screen that shows your current fund ratings.
6. Click on 'Issue Bond'. The rate should be .%. Accept it.
7. Exit the Budget window
8. turn the speed on Cheetah, and each year, you should rack up about $1.5 million!
