Activities on the streets #1079

If you like to watch the sims walking around on the streets, you will eventually notice that they will perform "acts" for you depending on the month and on nearby buildings. I have listed some of the interesting activities that I have noticed while creating my city:

October: if you watch the streets you can find Frankenstein, the Headless Horseman, skeletons, and even small groups of trick-or-treaters wandering around on your city streets.

December: if you manage to spot a group of red, it means you've found a circle of carolers. These Sims walk along the streets in small circles of eight, and they wear bright red Santa jackets.

Any month: if you are watching near a police station, you can spot blue-dressed characters waving nightsticks in the air or riding on horses. These are the police officers, and every once in a while they will spot a criminal, chase him down the streets for several tiles, then catch up with him and walk him back to the police station. You can also find Sims riding bikes and skateboards traversing your streets. Also visible are sims picketing, wearing signs, carrying lumber, and even pushing vending carts!

There are probably even more activities being performed by the Sims on your streets every day, but these are some of the ones that I have spotted.
