- 4X CD-ROM drive
- 2MB video card (SimCity 3000 runs in 16-bit color)
- DirectX compatible sound card
- Pointer device (mouse, etc.)
Macintosh version
- PowerPC @ 200MHz+ or G3
- Operating System 7.5.6 or higher (8.1 or higher for G3)
- 32MB RAM (64MB recommended)
- 128MB Virtual Memory
- 4X CD-ROM drive
- QuickTime 3.0 (provided on CD)
- 260MB of hard disk space for installation
- 100MB of hard disk space for Virtual Memory
- Pointer device (mouse, etc.)
Any console versions of the program that are released will work best with a memory add-on component so that you can save your cities.
