SimCity 3000 arrived in the U.S. and for the Windows PC market in late January, 1999. It arrived in European countries a few days thereafter. The Macintosh version appeared circa August of 1999.
Other international versions were later released.
SimCity 3000 Unlimited (aka World Edition) for PC was released in all territories circa August of 2000.

SimCity 3000 is available from your local software retailer, including places like Best Buy, CompUSA, Electronics Boutique, etc. You can also buy it direct from EA/Maxis by going to www.simcity.com.
The initial price for the product was estimated to be $35-$45 in the U.S. Since shipping, the original version costs about $15 to $20. SimCity 3000 Unlimited costs between $30 and $40.
